The licence covers insurance brokerage activities in the area of commercial insurance, consisting of providing services to clients in particular in the following areas:
- analysis of insurance needs and risk,
- preparation and presentation of recommendations on insurance programmes,
- organisation and management of tender proceedings with insurance companies,
- support in concluding and performing insurance contracts,
- cooperation in notifying and settling claims.
2. Supervision of brokerage activities
Brokerage activities are supervised by the authorities competent for the financial and insurance market. This means that BB Care is obliged to meet requirements relating to, among other things, competence, organisation, adequacy of procedures and the manner of communicating with clients.
3. Insurance intermediary register
Insurance brokers are entered in the relevant register of insurance intermediaries. Information about the entry, including the registration number and identifying details of the entity, is publicly available in the register maintained by the supervisory authority. A client may verify the broker's status at any time.
4. Territorial scope of activities
Brokerage activities are conducted on the territory of the Republic of Poland. In certain cases, arising from client needs and the nature of the risk, it is possible to use products from insurers also operating in other jurisdictions, in accordance with applicable law.
